Abergeldie is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as a delivery partner to support Unitywater in the delivery of its $2 billion water and wastewater infrastructure program. Unitywater’s collaborative partnership model, which commenced in May 2024, is designed to streamline the planning and delivery of essential infrastructure for growing communities across South East Queensland.

Abergeldie brings extensive experience in delivering complex water utilities infrastructure and a long history of working collaboratively with Unitywater. Through the current five-year program of works at the Maroochydore Wastewater Treatment Plant, along with the delivery of other key projects including the Bribie Island and Caboolture South Wastewater Treatment Plant Renewal works, the Caboolture South Recycled Water Disinfection Facility project and the Coolum Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering upgrade, Abergeldie has developed a strong understanding of Unitywater’s network, operational priorities, and its customers.

The new collaborative partnership, built on trust, openness and shared objectives combined with Abergeldie’s strong safety culture, accessible leadership, self‑perform capability and commitment to reliable delivery and innovation sees Abergeldie well positioned to deliver positive, sustainable outcomes for Unitywater and the region.

Abergeldie CEO Mark Bruzzone said “We are thrilled to be appointed as a delivery partner under Unitywater’s collaborative partnership model. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to building better communities and delivering the complex infrastructure needed to support the region’s growth. We look forward to continuing our work with Unitywater to deliver resilient, high-quality infrastructure that supports its customers now and into the future.”

Over the coming weeks, Abergeldie’s team will commence work on a range of wastewater treatment plant upgrade projects across the Unitywater network.
